Valerio Architects fosters a supportive environment where young architects and 4th-5th year architecture student interns can get immediate hands-on experience with a number of project types and personal interaction with all levels of staff and clients.

Senior Presentation Artist
Currently seeking Senior Presentation Artist for architectural firm to render 2D and 3D architectural presentations for projects working from sketches, blueprints, etc. using tools such as pen and ink, watercolors, charcoal, etc. Integrate and develop visual elements, such as line, space, mass, and perspective, in order to produce desired effects. Confer with architects and clients regarding the nature and content of artwork to be produced. Submit preliminary or finished project plans to architects and clients for approval, incorporating changes as necessary. Requirements: Two years of experience in the job. Experience in a related occupation will be accepted. Job Site: Los Angeles, CA This is a full-time (i.e., minimum 35-40 hours a week) position.
Junior Studio Associate (Architectural Drafter)
The Junior Associate will prepare detailed drawings of construction from scratch with proper scale, line weights, dimensions and call­outs based on company's guidelines and architects' specifications. In particular, the duties include: (1) Site Survey Phase (on site visit): Study technical manual carefully prior to going out on site. Take photographs on site per company guidelines. Assist senior associate and project manager with sketching floor plans and elevations and taking measurements. (2) Site Survey Phase (report production): Stitch and sort photographs. Organize photographs in page layout following company guidelines. Draw a building perfectly to scale with proper line weights, annotations, etc. Assemble the site survey package and upload, email and coordinate distribution. (3) Design Development Phase: Perform CAD color presentations, renderings with shadows plans, sections, and elevations per company guidelines. Prepare material boards. Perform CAD presentation of floor plan with shadows using PowerCADD (computer­aided design and drafting software) per company guidelines. (4) 3D proper layers, textures, etc. (5) CD's Production Phase: Draw a detailed construction from scratch with proper scale, line weights, dimensions and call­outs. Block out a complete set of CD's for simple project such as a small retail space. Draw proper plans, sections, elevations to scale and with proper line weights.
