Amanda's is a new healthy fast-casual restaurant concept, based in Berkeley, California. The objective is for Amanda's to build from the success of this premiere location, and expand the brand by building 3 to 5 new Amanda's restaurants in California over the next few years.
Valerio worked with Amanda's to open the first location in Berkeley in 2008. Valerio created the initial concepts and prototype design for the company, assisted with real estate evaluations, and provided architectural and entitlement services once the location was chosen. Valerio was an integral player in incorporating sustainable design strategies and materials into the project, leveraging the expertise of its LEED AP staff members.
